Entries must not, in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor, contain obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate content. Entries deemed by Sponsor to be inappropriate will be disqualified. Entries owned by a third party, or the use of any trademarks, service marks, logos, brands, or products owned by a third party are not acceptable for entry into the Sweepstakes.

Limit 1 entry per person, per day. Winner Selection/Prizes/Odds. The B&H Social Team will randomly select a winner from among all eligible entries every Monday during the Entry Period, for a total eight (8) winners (each a 'Winner'). Winner selection is in the sole and absolute discretion of the B&H Social Team. Any taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners will be notified and receive their prize at the email address associated with the account to which their Entry was posted or the email account provided with a mail-in entry. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Identity of Winners/Eligible Participants. Winners will be identified by the email account associated with the Facebook or Twitter account from which their Entry was submitted or the email account provided with a mail-in entry. An email account holder shall mean the natural person assigned to such email account by the internet access or online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with such email account.

Any issues regarding the identity of a Winner shall be resolved by Sponsor in its sole discretion. The Sweepstakes is only open to residents of the United States that are at least eighteen (18) years of age on their entry date and is not open to employees of Sponsor, their immediate family, any person domiciled with such employees, or any affiliates or subsidiaries of Sponsor.

Have its big brother, the Samson G-track at home and it's serves me well, but was looking for a smaller travel-mic that isn't aweful for creating tutorials and talking to clients via skype etc.

This does the job beautifully. It's really quite small, but the metal clip makes it heavier than I thought it'd be. That being said, at least it doesn't feel like it's cheaply made, though I do worry it may scratch the finish when clipped to my Macbook Air. But skype calls have been ultra-clear compared with the built-in iMac 27 or MBA mics and I've moved to making more and more business calls over Skype since I can easily record conversations and be hands-free with great audio quality. Great value, results and super-easy to setup and use.

So the Samson Go Mic may not be an absolute pro mic. But for $39 bucks how can anyone complain!!?? Its very small, easy to use and works with the iPad (with the camera adapter kit). I only use the middle setting (-10db) with a fairly close proximity to my mouth. There is a bit of p popping if you don't use a pop filter but I just used a foam filter and it works fine. I am using it with BossJock for podcasting and get some really clean recordings.

It seems fairly sturdy and has a strong clip. Love it.you should buy it. Even if it just ends up as a skype desktop mic its great. Rated 4 out of 5 by SY from Great for semi-professional voice-over recording We have two of these and use them extensively for voice-over recording on videos. The switch on the side provides three settings: direct, mid-range and all-around (about 270 degrees). We often record in mid-range and the quality is great. The only component that should be included is a pop-filter, but it does quite well on its own.

It should be noted that this is not a full-professional grade gadget. It is significantly better than using, say, an iPhone's earphone mic set but not a studio quality microphone.

With a non-echoing room however, you can get close to studio quality if you try hard enough (we have!). I like the size (relatively small), the semi-hard carrying case, solid build quality (it has a bit of weight to it) and all round high performance. We were Face Timing news reports the video was fine but the audio was awful. We called B&H told them what we needed they suggested the Go Mic. The mic works great in our report Kiosks it picks up well. We edit on Final Cut Pro X.We add a touch of Bass and its perfect. It has two settings very directional and a setting for group recording. For the money you will not beat this Microphone.

The computer found it with out a hitch. It is small enough and stays out of your way. Experiment with it some,you will be very happy.

Mac Capture Card

Quality construction. Recognized brand name. This product really fulfilled most of my desires. Basically, the only issue I have is perhaps that it didn't meet my expectation of high accuracy for use with voice recognition software.It works very well, however I had hoped to be able to achieve higher accuracy ratings than it seems to provide based on reviews of other microphones by the same manufacturer. The construction is solid - much better than the flimsy plastic microphone which I easily broke.

It is easy to use. It works great with Skype. And it doesn't take up a lot of space in my briefcase. All in all, I would definitely buy again and would recommend it to other people. It's stylish & professional looking. This may or may not be important for others but I love the package it came in. Very useful carrying case that can be used for other accessories. The only negative is you can't adjust the swivel height to extend the mic. Worked with Garage band, couldn't get it to work with Audacity?
