Let's install MAT as a plugin in Eclipse. Follow the instructions below or check the images for the required steps.

First go to the help option in Eclipse's menu bar and click on 'Install new software.' A new window 'Install' will pop-up.

Select '-All Available Sites-' in the 'Work With' dropdown. It will take a while before the list of available plugins get populated. After the plugins are listed, expand General Purpose Tools and inside it click teh check-box beside Memory Analyzer. Now just click on the 'Next', 'Finish' and 'Accept Terms' bottons/links.

You will be prompted for eclipse restart, once MAT is installed. After, restart MAt will be available from File Open File options of the menu bar.
